TERMS OF RENTAL
SECURITY / DAMAGE COVER:
You can choose one of the following 2 options
Amount of Security Deposit: $300.00 U.S. Dollars per Home.
Columbus Vacation Villas will authorize the amount of $300 on your card – this amount will be held by your bank and released as per their terms and conditions ( the normal is for 14 days but some banks do take up to 30 days to release the funds – please consult your bank ). If damages or missing items exceed $300.00 taken as my security, I shall be held responsible or if Columbus Vacation Villas is unable to place claim against the credit card used for security deposit, I hereby consent and submit myself to the jurisdiction of the Florida Courts. If there is the necessity to make a claim against my security deposit, I authorize Columbus Vacation Villas to deduct any amount of money from my credit card for any damages or breakages due to accidental damage or from our negligence.
Accidental Damage Insurance $45.00 USD per Home
Columbus Vacation Villas are authorized suppliers of Travel Guard Accidental Damage Insurance. This insurance covers all accidental damage to the home up to a maximum of $1500. It does not include damage caused by smoking or by pets as we do not allow either in our homes. When you purchase this insurance you will be supplied with a complete policy – a copy of this can also be viewed prior to purchase.
LATE CHECK OUT;
I understand that Columbus Vacation Villas has rented this property on the terms that the property will be vacated by 10:00 AM on day of check out, and that I may be subject to a late check-out charge of $50 after 10am and an extra days rent after 12pm noon. Arrangements can also be made for an early check in – before 4.00pm
POOL HEATERS:
Pool heaters once turned on, take approximately 24 hours to bring temperature to desired setting. Please be advised that during colder time periods, Columbus Vacation Villas will not be responsible for pool heaters automatic shut off system. During winter months should temperatures outside reach 55 degrees or lower; pool heater will automatically shut down. When temperature reach 55 or above, they will automatically come back on again. Please be advised that Columbus Vacation Villas will not reimburse or refund any portion of pool heat payment if for any reason, due to the weather, pool takes longer to heat up.
EMERGENCY CALLS
I understand that if I call the emergency number after office hours and my situation is not an emergency, my credit card will be charged a $75 dollar fee.
LOCK OUT:
Please enter through the front door only. If you enter or exit through the garage and lock yourself out after 5.30 pm, there will be an $85 fee plus any further charges incurred by hiring a locksmith.
BBQ:
If a BBQ is in the property and you use it then you are responsible to clean the BBQ – if you leave the home and the BBQ is not cleaned then $45 will be charged to your credit card to pay for someone else to clean it.
AGE RESRICTION :
Guests must be 18 years or older to make the reservation – and an adult of 18 years or older must be staying in the home for the duration of the rental.
PETS
No pets are allowed in any of our homes at any time.
These rental terms and conditions are in addition to the booking terms and conditions and Florida Statute chapter 509 and chapter 61c
